Our annual picnic at Cedar Creek Lake is a 2-Day event encompassing just plain fun for all! Music, food, drinks, games, door prizes, camping, fishing, tubing, fireworks, and camaraderie!

On 21APR2021, the Chapter was on hand at the South Grand Prairie High School JROTC awards program. We awarded Cadet CORSIGA with the 82nd ABN DIV Assoc. Leadership medal and certificate.
Clifford Stump’s Surprise 97th Birthday Party
Aside from the mass singing of Blood Upon the Risers, our chapter presented Cliff with a special gift. Cliff admired the chapter’s potluck group picture so much we decided to get it printed on a blanket for him.
North Texas Chapter Gathering April 2021
The weekend of the 17th of April 2021proved to be a great get together. It is best explained by our current Chairman Pete Dominguez...
"The Chapter held a potluck to kick off our first gathering of the year. We had the honor and privilege of having Clifford Stump, a WWII Gliderman who served with the 82D Airborne, in attendance. Past president and current Chaplain Gabriel Kanawite cut some cake and celebrate his birthday with the group as well. Gabriel's age is still classified as TOP SECRET! With a guest of honor from the greatest generation, a birthday celebration, diverse food, and a few attendees walking away with free door prizes; what a fun event it was to say the least! The gathering and Clifford Stump's presence truly highlights the tight fraternity of paratroopers and the value placed on Airborne lineage and history."
For the past 2 years, the Chapter has been asked to take part in the Restland Memorial Day Ceremony in Dallas, TX. We set up a booth and displayed equipment relative to our profession and met with many veterans who come out to pay Respects to the fallen. It truly has been an Honor to support this event.
